“If you cannot practice shuniya, you cannot be a teacher of Kundalini Yoga. Shuniya means zero. The moment you become zero, then all powers will prevail through you.” Yogi Bhajan

You are the change that is called for. Read the Signs of the Times* and make the Season apparent to all. Report the real abuse of power and oppression of the small by the powerful. You must rely on a strong personal foundation. Trust what you know because you will have to bring about this necessary change alone. You cannot count on support among your peers, so you must summon the courage to move in the face of opposition. Then you will be believed.

You know each other, because you were all born in the same time and space as a batch of the third millennium. No matter where we live—we have all come to the planet Earth. You know that you are here. Do you accept that everyone knows everyone? Do you ever go up to someone and say “Hi, you are here, I am here!” without knowing the person’s name? Whenever dealing with people, remember you are here along with everyone else all of the time.

MEDITATION – Division and Oneness
1. Sit straight in a cross-legged position. Raise both hands to shoulder level with the elbows relaxed down. Point the index fingers up and the other fingers curled down with thumbs covering them. Eyes are closed.

Shock and thunder from the heavens bring a reckoning and justice. They can bring distraction from reflection and clarity of vision to the point of insanity. The best thing is to keep still until composure and clarity are restored. If you can give distance to the sources of agitation, you can remain free of mistakes and injury though you may be derided by those around you. Then you will be passed over as justice has its due.
Today, the small departs and the great approaches. Expect good fortune and success. For now, heaven and earth have united, so it is a good and powerful time for prayer and advancing peace. It is a good time to elevate ourselves and those around us through our word. It is a good time to forget differences and divisions and release our expectations of others. The greatly blessed and less fortunate, powerful and humble can come together in unity with the greatness within us and project our divinity into the world.

The thunder of the day is shocking. Fear and trembling. Forget the words. Forget the expressed opinions and preferences and the scenarios they offer.
Always be filled with reverence at the manifestation of God, setting your life in order and searching your heart, lest you harbor any secret opposition to the will of God. Thus reverence is the foundation of true culture.

Grasp the left thumb with the right hand, and place the hands on your lap. Close your eyes. After a few moments, feel the sensation of your nose becoming inverted, So that the tip of your nose is between the eyes, and the bridge of the nose is at the bottom.

What is always with us and within us is the collective psyche of whom we identify with. That’s we, just as the soul is I. In Western terms (Jung) it is the collective unconscious. In yogic tradition it is interconnectedness through our subtle bodies. Enjoy the times that bring a strong perception of common awareness with our brothers and sisters. That is now.
Meditation Merge with the consciousness of others.
Nurture others in need, as if you were feeding yourself.
Take care not to provide sustenance for those who feed off others. In bestowing care and nourishment, it is important that the right people should be taken care of and that we should attend to our own nourishment in the right way. If we wish to know what anyone is like, we have only to observe on whom he bestows his care and what sides of his own nature he cultivates and nourishes.

Everywhere people are oppressed and held in restraint by those who serve the narrow interests of their own egos. When a strong person meets with adversity, he remains cheerful despite all danger, and this cheerfulness is the source of later successes; it is that stability which is stronger than fate. He who lets his spirit be broken by exhaustion certainly has no success. If a strong person bends and is not broken, a power grows within that will in time manifest itself. Be true to yourself and sparing of words until that power grows enough to take effective action.

Rhythms in nature produce forces that move our consciousness like the tides that follow the phases of the moon. Water does not resist the moon’s gravity, nor should we struggle futilely against the cyclical forces of natural attraction. Following what comes from the sense of adaptation to the demands of the time is a joyful pursuit.
