Today: “Be wary of surrounding danger.  Be sensible and flexible in order to escape unharmed.” From the I Ching

Witnessing a complete social transformation, you must accept the consequences and ride the wave.  Keep sight of the history and its foundations as you join the structural reformation.

Tao Te Ching – Verse 39 – In harmony with the Tao, the sky is clear and spacious

Today:”Mind is like a pendulum. It can only be controlled when your breath will be one-minute.” Yogi Bhajan

33 – Thirty-Three.  Tun / Retreat

The tranquil Mountain towers overhead, yet remains this side of Heaven:
The Superior Person avoids the petty and superficial by keeping shallow men at a distance, not in anger but with dignity.

Such a retreat sweeps the path clear to Success.
Occupy yourself with minute detail.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

Retreat in this instance is not a desperate flight in disarray, but a conscious choice to distance yourself from forces that would rob you of your peace.
It is not a surrender, but a regrouping.
Retreat from this conflict is actually an advance toward your own center.
You move toward balance, and thus a much stronger position.

Six at the beginning [yin at bottom] means:

You have reached the outlands of your retreat.
To hold your advantage, fall back no further.

At the tail in retreat. This is dangerous.
One must not wish to undertake anything.

Since the hexagram is the picture of something that is retreating, the lowest line represents the tail and the top line the head. In a retreat it is advantageous to be at the front. Here one is at the back, in immediate contact with the pursuing enemy. This is dangerous, and under such circumstances it is not advisable to undertake anything. Keeping still is the easiest way of escaping from the threatening danger.

13 – Thirteen.  T’ung Jên / Social Mechanism

Heaven reflects the Flame of clarity:
The Superior Person analyzes the various levels and working parts of the social structure, and uses them to advantage.

Success if you keep to your course.
You may cross to the far shore.

SITUATION ANALYSIS:

This is a matter of Positioning — not only yourself, but others as well.
There are niches to be filled, potentials to be realized, right livelihoods to be found.
You are not building a new organization, but shoring up an existing infrastructure.
It’s worth the effort, because it will provide union, community, and an ironclad alliance.

Today:”Mind is like a pendulum. It can only be controlled when your breath will be one-minute.” Yogi Bhajan

“Mind is like a pendulum. It can only be controlled when your breath will be one-minute. You will not dream, you will sleep like a baby when you want, you can get up when you want, your time clock will be fine. But you have to breathe one minute: twenty seconds inhale, twenty seconds hold, twenty seconds exhale. Mind then has nothing left but to serve you, serve you, serve you.” Yogi Bhajan

Tao Te Ching – Verse 39

In harmony with the Tao,
the sky is clear and spacious,
the earth is solid and full,
all creatures flourish together,
content with the way they are,
endlessly repeating themselves,
endlessly renewed.
When man interferes with the Tao,
the sky becomes filthy,
the earth becomes depleted,
the equilibrium crumbles,
creatures become extinct.
