“The power of a teacher of Kundalini Yoga is in his zero, in his shuniya. In shuniya you become zero, you reduce everything to nothing: “I am nothing. Everything is nothing. There’s nothing to be nothing.” The moment you become that, then everything radiates from you.” Yogi Bhajan
Accept rewards for your deeds, whether from on high or from the humble whom you have helped to elevate. Whether it is what you expected or needed, allow them to feel that they have repaid you. Keep an attitude of gratitude. Further the expansion and clarity of your purest intentions.

MEDITATION – Purify your Body and Being.
Sit straight in a cross-legged position. Hold your hands in Sarab Gyan Mudra in front of the heart—fingers interlocked with the
index fingers extended pointing up.
Eyes are closed and focused at the tip of the nose. Press the
index fingertips very tightly against each other and chant, “Sat Naam, Sat Naam, Sat Naam Jee, Wah-hay, Wah-hay Guroo, Wah-hay Guroo Jee” with the instrumental tape “Duni.”
The time for action has come for accomplishing great tasks. The path before you is being cleared and reward lies ahead. Use all of your creative powers to manifest your intentions through your highest nature. Awaken and help develop the higher nature of those around you. The powers of heaven are there to support you. You are seen by all. You have become the mentor you have sought. You’re it.
“If you cannot practice shuniya, you cannot be a teacher of Kundalini Yoga. Shuniya means zero. The moment you become zero, then all powers will prevail through you.” Yogi Bhajan
You are the change that is called for. Read the Signs of the Times* and make the Season apparent to all. Report the real abuse of power and oppression of the small by the powerful. You must rely on a strong personal foundation. Trust what you know because you will have to bring about this necessary change alone. You cannot count on support among your peers, so you must summon the courage to move in the face of opposition. Then you will be believed.
You know each other, because you were all born in the same time and space as a batch of the third millennium. No matter where we live—we have all come to the planet Earth. You know that you are here. Do you accept that everyone knows everyone? Do you ever go up to someone and say “Hi, you are here, I am here!” without knowing the person’s name? Whenever dealing with people, remember you are here along with everyone else all of the time.
MEDITATION – Division and Oneness
1. Sit straight in a cross-legged position. Raise both hands to shoulder level with the elbows relaxed down. Point the index fingers up and the other fingers curled down with thumbs covering them. Eyes are closed. Continue reading “Meditation: LA0967-Division and Oneness”
Shock and thunder from the heavens bring a reckoning and justice. They can bring distraction from reflection and clarity of vision to the point of insanity. The best thing is to keep still until composure and clarity are restored. If you can give distance to the sources of agitation, you can remain free of mistakes and injury though you may be derided by those around you. Then you will be passed over as justice has its due.
“Ego is the very capacity to be finite. You say, “I am. These are my things. This is my life. Nobody can tell me anything. I’ll do whatever I want to do.” In the end it confines you tremendously and tragically. You give no attention to your destiny and lose perspective.
Today, the small departs and the great approaches. Expect good fortune and success. For now, heaven and earth have united, so it is a good and powerful time for prayer and advancing peace. It is a good time to elevate ourselves and those around us through our word. It is a good time to forget differences and divisions and release our expectations of others. The greatly blessed and less fortunate, powerful and humble can come together in unity with the greatness within us and project our divinity into the world.
The thunder of the day is shocking. Fear and trembling. Forget the words. Forget the expressed opinions and preferences and the scenarios they offer.
Always be filled with reverence at the manifestation of God, setting your life in order and searching your heart, lest you harbor any secret opposition to the will of God. Thus reverence is the foundation of true culture.
Grasp the left thumb with the right hand, and place the hands on your lap. Close your eyes. After a few moments, feel the sensation of your nose becoming inverted, So that the tip of your nose is between the eyes, and the bridge of the nose is at the bottom. What is always with us and within us is the collective psyche of whom we identify with. That’s we, just as the soul is I. In Western terms (Jung) it is the collective unconscious. In yogic tradition it is interconnectedness through our subtle bodies. Enjoy the times that bring a strong perception of common awareness with our brothers and sisters. That is now.
Meditation Merge with the consciousness of others.
Nurture others in need, as if you were feeding yourself.
Take care not to provide sustenance for those who feed off others. In bestowing care and nourishment, it is important that the right people should be taken care of and that we should attend to our own nourishment in the right way. If we wish to know what anyone is like, we have only to observe on whom he bestows his care and what sides of his own nature he cultivates and nourishes.
“There is only one simple fact: On the spiritual path you have to pass through your mind, your power in experience, to reach the soul. But mind is not bound in time and space. So you must create a focus, an identity, a sensitivity to be beyond time and beyond the challenge of space. The soul is always immediate and present. It gives you a flow and makes your presence glow.” Yogi Bhajan
