The cabal of corruption is growing dissent, distrust and resentment within its ranks.
The purpose for its very existence is growing dim. The members of what was once a fellowship with a common purpose, the poison that nourishes its existence, i.e., greed, have realized that each cannot have it all. It’s becoming every man for himself. Greed has no limits, cooperative alliances do.
The same poisons that separated this group from the civilized world is tearing itself apart. Its members are leaving to plant new roots for future grift. What may this bring?
Peace.
…until the next time.

The fools who are in charge are not just not up to the task of leadership, they are throwing it away on frivolous and disastrous pursuits which have destroyed their credibility and the sources of their power. Soon, a turning point will require the rebuilding and restoration of what has been lost.” from the I Ching

13 – Thirteen. T’ung Jên / Social Mechanism
Heaven reflects the Flame of clarity:
The Superior Person analyzes the various levels and working parts of the social structure, and uses them to advantage.
Success if you keep to your course.
You may cross to the far shore.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
This is a matter of Positioning — not only yourself, but others as well.
There are niches to be filled, potentials to be realized, right livelihoods to be found.
You are not building a new organization, but shoring up an existing infrastructure.
It’s worth the effort, because it will provide union, community, and an ironclad alliance.

Nine in the third place means:
He hides weapons in the thicket;
He climbs the high hill in front of it.
For three years he does not rise up.

| Here fellowship has changed about to mistrust. Each man distrusts the other, plans a secret ambush, and seeks to spy on his fellow from afar. We are dealing with an obstinate opponent whom we cannot come at by this method. Obstacles standing in the way of fellowship with others are shown here. One has mental reservations for one’s own part and seeks to take his opponent by surprise. This very fact makes one mistrustful, suspecting the same wiles in his opponent and trying to ferret them out. The result is that one departs further and further from true fellowship. The longer this goes on, the more alienated one becomes. |
11 – Eleven. T’ai / Peace
Heaven and Earth embrace, giving birth to Peace.
The Superior Person serves as midwife, presenting the newborn gift to the people.
The small depart; the great approach.
Success.
Good fortune.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
It doesn’t get any better than this.
Everything is in harmony, all obstacles are cleared from your Path, anything you could ask for is right at hand.
This is the Elysian Fields, the Garden of Eden.
The only thing wrong with Peace is that it, too, must change.
Whether you are in this state of harmony now or it is predicted for your future, recognize it as your greatest opportunity to build your resources against less harmonious times.
